Hello Neighbors!  Our annual meeting and election of officers is coming very soon and I'm excited to cast my vote but I have decided to withdraw my name as a candidate for Vocal at Large.  I jumped in to this election out of a desire to serve the community but I have realized I'm not that well known and I can serve in other ways that will allow me to help the community, get to know more of my neighbors and demonstrate my ability to serve.  Sometimes these elections are determined by just a few votes so I want to throw my support to the candidates I believe are the best choices at this time.  After considering all the worthy choices I hope you will agree that the following are the ones to vote for:  Vice President - Ingrid Datica;  Secy - Liane Perry;  Vocal at Large - Jon Kantor, Craig Conklin,  Mike Dunning, and Peter Swenson.  After speaking personally with most of these candidates, studying their bios, reading their responses to inquiries about various issues, and considering their past and present service to the community, I believe each has unique skills that will enable Vecinos to continue and enhance its service to Akumal Norte.  Regardless of who you choose, please participate and VOTE.  Our community is stronger when we all show up!
