Celebrating Success at the Pluma!

It is with great pleasure that we take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of our new security company since its commencement three months ago. Your support and trust has been instrumental in our progress and we appreciate your patience with the transition. AR Security has been actively engaging with the National Guard in order to maintain lines of communication open and is committed to creating a safer environment for us all. They have a vehicle stationed at the Pluma that does rounds multiple times a day and night in our community to help keep us safe. 

Multiple cars crashed into the gate arms during the transition, mainly people who were accustomed to passing through without being questioned. We are happy to report that the vast majority of people who enter the community understand the importance of our security team and are complying with the need to stop if they do not have a plastic tag. We recently procured more plastic tags, as a reminder, blue bags are for owners, red tags are for renters and guests, and yellow tags are for workers. 

If you have renters or other guests, you or your management company need to complete the form below (you can click the image below to print it, or you can click here to download a copy) and give it to the security officers at the Pluma so your renters can be let in without delay.  It helps to streamline the entrance process and the security company asks that everyone complete and submit it when you have guests. 

The Pluma recently underwent major renovations to both security gate arms.  Brand new motors and sensors have been installed upon entry and exit. Extensive maintenance was done on the Palapa including a new roof, paint, and mosquito netting on the window openings. Plumbing was redone on the security building along with the installation of a new water tank. These renovations have helped to make our entrance look more polished, and we plan to invest in a Akumal Norte Entrance sign in the near future.
