New website offers comprehensive info

In December, Vecinos unveiled a new and improved website... and you're on the new website right now! Bienvenidos!

All Vecinos members have been pre-registered for access to member areas of the website. If you’re logging in for the first time or would like to reset your password for any reason, click “Forgot password” in the login box at the upper right and you’ll receive an email to set a new password.

The website supports easy, secure online credit card secure payment processing through Stripe, ensuring that payments, donations, and ticket purchases are seamlessly deposited directly into Vecinos’ bank account and are automatically credited to member accounts.

Members can use the website to access minutes of Board meetings, Financial updates, a member directory, and several user forums. The entire site is searchable, and will be updated and expanded with new forums, new information, and new features as needed.

Now that you're on the website, please look around! Then, log in and go to your profile by clicking View profile, and follow the instructions at the top of the page to accept the Vecinos privacy policy, edit your profile and securely pay your dues. Contact details like cell phone, non-Akumal phone, etc., are not visible to others unless you want them to be, but they can help Vecinos help you in case of emergency.

Privacy settings determine whether you're listed in the member directory, whether your posts on member forums are anonymous or identified with your name, and what information about you neighbors can see. Just click the privacy link, click Edit Profile, make your choices, and click Save.
