About VecinosVecinos is the non-profit Civil Association (A.C.) of North Akumal. Vecinos was established to meet North Akumal's needs for services and infrastructure through direct community action and by becoming North Akumal's legally recognized authority to interact with government agencies and representatives. |

| Community WorkVecinos' work on behalf of the North Akumal community includes security, provision and maintenance of roads, signs, and lights, a Community Center, community outreach, and establishment of government relations and authority. |
LeadershipOur Board of Directors and committee workers are all volunteers who donate their time in support of the North Akumal community. Board positions are filled at the annual meeting. To run for a position, one must be a member in good standing. |
