ZOFEMAT is coming to clean sargassum from the beach on Half Moon Bay on October 15. They are sending 50-70 workers for 3-5 days for free, but we need to provide additional trucks to gaul the sargassum, provide a legal place to dump it, and provide food and drinks for the workers at a cost estimated at $270,000 pesos. LeadershipOur Board of Directors and committee workers are all volunteers who donate their time in support of the North Akumal community. Board positions are filled at the annual meeting. To run for a position, one must be a member in good standing. |
