Ricardo, our President for the past two years, has done a great job, but finds himself unable to run again.  Dan has agreed to step into the breech.

Dan is retired and has the time and long experience with the government of Tulum. His multiple achievements include paving the road, providing new water lines, installing street lights, and building the community center that then was utilized to bring the National Guard into Akumal Norte.... making us probably the safest community on Riviera Maya.

The other piece that helps with security is the pluma.  Built by Terry Richardson, Vecinos was not initially involved because at the time building it was illegal.  Tulum could have closed down Vecinos for sponsoring it.  Then Vecinos got permission for the pluma, and now we pay the guards from Vecinos treasury.

Dan’s opponent has been VP and has failed so far to increase the membership significantly.  What are his accomplishments as VP?  Scott is a charming fellow. But he has a full-time job, 2 small children, and is President of 2 condo associations.  Unfortunately he does not have the time to devote to the organization that Dan has.

We hear that transparency seems to be an issue.  Both Dan and Ricardo wrote periodic reports to all of the members, and made themselves very available.  What else should they be doing? Dan would love to hear your suggestions.

    Please vote for Dan.
