    Some guests at La Sirena recently reported being charged $70 usd for taxi fare to the Chedraui in Puerto Aventuras. To help avoid overcharging and provide a guide, attached herewith are the most recent (2023) Tulum Taxi Tariff sheets.

    2 week ago I had a meeting with Qta Roo Taxi Union Secretary to discuss this type of issues. In upcoming weeks an official table with the rates will be available to be posted in different places around our community. Also, they are asking for us as owner to have a list of excessive charges by taxi drivers.

    Last week we had a meeting with representatives from sindicato de Taxistas and the new flat rate service for our community is ready to be implemented. It will in a form of a QR label with a menu service style fee's.
